İLKNUR GERDAN SİYALAR

She is an HR professional who has built her career on diverse cross-industry experience and strong observational skills gained through extensive fieldwork.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Finance from the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University and completed her master’s degree in Career Psychological Counseling at the Institute of Educational Sciences of Sakarya University. Her master’s research focused on change management, examining the impact of organizational change on human resources.

Ilknur Gerdan Siyalar began her professional career in the tourism industry, where she actively participated in all areas of human resources. She also played a key role in the establishment and development of her family’s business in the education sector. Throughout her career, she has gained broad experience across a variety of industries, including outdoor advertising, manufacturing, engineering, medical services, environmental laboratories, and digital textile printing technologies, giving her a well-rounded and versatile perspective.

This multi-layered experience has equipped her not only with strong process management capabilities, but also with the ability to understand diverse business models, analyze organizational dynamics, and design human resources systems tailored to the unique needs of each organization.

In the organizations where she has served as an HR Manager and Project Manager, she has built sustainable systems in critical areas such as establishing HR departments from the ground up, organizational development, culture-driven organizational structuring, workforce planning, competency-based recruitment, performance management, and career development.

Today, as an HR Project Consultant, Siyalar analyzes existing organizational structures to identify areas for improvement and develops practical, sustainable solutions tailored to each organization’s specific needs. Her approach goes beyond simply implementing systems; she places strong emphasis on ensuring their adoption within the organization and their long-term effectiveness.

Since 2015, she has been an active HR blogger, with her articles published across numerous career and professional development platforms.

In addition, drawing on her ICF-accredited training in professional coaching, executive coaching, and career coaching, she serves as a mentor, sharing her knowledge and experience in interview techniques, career management, and human resources practices. Through various voluntary professional initiatives, she also contributes to promoting a more aware, conscious, and people-centered approach within the business world.
