İlkin Çelikli is a co-founder of BLUFORES HR and an HR consultant with international experience. He previously served as Chair of the Audit Board of the Human Resources Management Association. He is married and has three children.

CAREER JOURNEY
Born and raised in England, İlkin Çelikli moved to Cyprus with his family during his teenage years. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Education at Eastern Mediterranean University, he earned a master’s degree in Human Resource Development in Ohio, USA. His education and life experience across different countries shaped the international perspective he brings to human resources.
He began his professional career in 2005 at Eastern Mediterranean University’s Department of Educational Sciences. He later became Human Resources Director at Girne American University, where he built the HR department from the ground up and led its operations. During the same period, he taught human resource management courses, sharing his practical experience with university students.
In 2010, İlkin moved to Heidelberg, Germany. Until 2020, he led recruitment at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), helping bring scientists from around the world into the organisation and working with international teams. He also attended career fairs, workshops and professional training events across Europe, further developing his expertise in recruitment and human resources.
After returning to Cyprus, İlkin co-founded BLUFORES HR Outsourcing & Consulting with his colleague Ahmet Türkdoğan, with whom he had long planned to work. Today, he draws on his international experience to help local businesses strengthen their HR structures. He has also served as Chair of the Audit Board of the Human Resources Management Association.
